Well done to Chris Hollis on winning the Committee Medal yesterday morning with a mightily impressive nett 64 (at least I think it was a 64 but may have accidentally chopped off the winning scores from my results sheet!). Fred Webb managed to take the division two top spot and Bayley Lewendon shot a 69 to take best gross. Well played all.

Division Two
Winner - Fred Webb, 2nd - Terry Jones, 3rd - John Phillips, 4th - Bob Peckham
Once again the snake was spotted on course this week, it changed hands amongst the fourball but ended up on the head of the snake game founder Tom Hobbs. Watch out Tom this three putt snake bites hard!
Next week's recipient will be?

"well played 'Grinder' you were sensational today. Thanks for your guidance and advice on the course against 'Inspector Frank Drummond' & 'I'm no Angel' in our Texas Scramble match. I'm so happy that we were drawn together that I must thank you and take you out for a night to remember. Do you fancy a drive down Shirley High Street in my beemer?"Summer Pairs Result

"well played 'Simply Gorgeous' and thanks for reminding me of my youth. When I saw you in the morning sun helping 'the Grinder' open that new giant ranch like gate into the club compound I had a flash back to my first music album "Yo Canto". Your tanned skin, chiselled features and gleaming white teeth reminded me of a young Julio Iglesias. If I had your looks my days as a Butlins Redcoat could have been so different."Simply Gorgeous reply -
"thanks for the generous compliment 'Entertainer' and thank you Mike. My looks maybe be natural but my game is down to hard work and Mike, that guy is magic! He always leaves me with one vivid memory after a lesson, especially after a Yorkshire tale."Saturday Stableford Result
