Modernising Golf's Rules
Last week the R&A proposed some key changes to the Rules of Golf from 2019. Their Rules Modernisation initiative has been underway for a few years now and this is the next stage in that process. The aim is to not only make the Rules easier to understand, but also to address some of the game's current problems, such as speed of play, and ensure they fit the needs of today's game.
Please spare a couple of minutes to complete our survey, which gives you the chance to have your say on the proposed changes.
We've picked out some of the most significant Rules changes for you to digest in this survey, before giving you the chance to say whether you agree or disagree with each of them. It'll be great to know your thoughts.

Further Improvements at your Club
As well as ensuring that sufficient funds are spent on maintaining and further improving our golf course to the high standards that we are now becoming accustomed too. The management team would like to tell you of two further projects that the Club will be embarking on this year.
The first is improvements to the outdoor seating area and surrounding fencing. Plans for this can be viewed on the Club noticeboard with the overall aim to improve views over the course and to provide additional seating.
The second is the refurbishment and new equipment purchase for the Club kitchen. This is timed to reflect the fact that the Club has taken the entire catering operation in house. The management team are keen to have the infrastructure in place to ensure quality offerings at realistic prices.
The Club now has overall control of bar, catering and the pro shop. Meaning every penny you spend within the Club helps us to further improve the facilities and course for your benefit.
We hope that you enjoy the improvements over the coming year.
