The early Saturday morning group of members enjoyed a glass of bucks fizz in anticipation of the new season of competitions which started last Saturday.
Most of them hit their career best tee shots off the first, especially those that had drank a second glass!
The Stableford winners were:
David Bell - 42 pts, C.R.Hughes - 36 pts (Back 9), David Cardy - 36 pts
Well done to Nick Perrett (Portuguese Giant) for his editorial skills in reporting all the Saturday Competition news.
Shop Opening
We celebrated the opening of the refurbished Pro Shop here at New Forest Golf Club.
Michael Lord along with Chris Hughes a stalwart of the Saturday morning competitions and multiple tournament winner, can be seen cutting the ribbon.
